Monthly Beauty Favorites: July 2017

I can’t believe it is already August. Like where the heck did June and July go? Pretty soon it will be fall and just like that summer will be over. I do have to say, I am a little pumped about the cooler fall weather. This summer in Denver, Colorado has been so dang hot and my new house I am renting with a couple of roommates does not have A/C. Anyway, to the point of this blog post: my Monthly Beauty Favorites for July 2017!

Like I mentioned, Denver has been so hot all summer so I tried to minimize the amount of makeup I wore during July. The company I work for has a super lax dress code so I get ready for work in literally 10 minutes, which means I don’t spend a lot of time doing my makeup. The five products I have swore by this past July are below:

Willing Beauty Get Set Tinted Primer

Marc Jacobs Re(Marc)able Foundation: I have talked about this foundation on here before but recently purchased it again from Sephora. I LOVE this foundation and it is easily my all time favorite. A little goes a long way and it stays matte the entire day. It is pricey but it lasts awhile so I made the splurge.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Powder: I’m not one to splurge on face powder. There are so many great drugstore powders that I don’t think it is necessary. My favorite for July (and many previous months) is the Maybelline Fit Me powder. On days where I don’t use foundation, I will use some concealer and then finish off the look with this powder to prevent oily skin.

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil: This is my second Goof Proof pencil I have had and I absolutely love it! The name says it all, it is actually goof proof and so easy to fill in your brows.

MAC Strobe Cream: It is safe to say that highlight has been a huge beauty trend recently. I received the Mac Strobe Cream in my Birch Box a couple months back and love it. I stay at my boyfriend’s condo a couple days a week and so I love bringing travel size beauty products and this has been my go-to highlight this summer!

Willing Beauty Get Set Tinted Primer: I received this primer as well as 4 other Willing beauty products to try as part of their HY+5 beauty campaign. My favorite of the five is definitely this tinted primer. I sometimes even use it as a tinted moisturizer and just add some face powder on days I don’t want to wear a ton of makeup.
