Hey look who it is! I am actually doing something other than working and went on an adventure. This weekend I hopped on a plane to Omaha, Nebraska to visit my sister who is going to school here. I flew out of Denver around 10:30am this morning and got to Omaha early afternoon. My sister gave me a tour of her school and then we ventured to Downtown and Old Market area for some sight seeing, Thai Bubble Tea, dinner and ice cream. Tonight we are going to have a movie night so we can be well rested for our plans tomorrow.
Y’all have to get a pic in front of this wall if you are ever in Omaha… just be sure to take it when the shadows aren’t photobombing.

Upstream Brewery: My sister and I got the Vegetarian Thin Crust pizza and a side of pretzel bites with Gouda dipping sauce (not pictured). We devoured everything and we only paid $9.60 each!
So far I am enjoying the midwest. Tomorrow we have a full day planned including checking out the Pedestrian Bridge, Heartland of America Park, and the Zoo! I don’t leave until Monday evening, but I am working out of my company’s Omaha office so I can save up some PTO.. also it’ll be fun seeing some of my coworkers I met from the Omaha office while we all were at training in Arizona.
