I thought it would be fun to do a post on some of my favorite Netflix series and movies that I have been loving lately! I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for new Netflix suggestions. Half the time I spend twenty minutes browsing until I actually decide on something to watch. Comment below what your favorite Netflix series and/or movie is!
How to Get Away With Murder
I just started watching this series this week because it was JUST released. My housemates were watching the season last spring when it first aired and I finally decided to give it a try and let me tell ya, I am hooked! I’ve been watching it three days and I am almost halfway done with the season.
Chef
A coworker at my internship this summer recommended this movie to me and I am so glad I watched it. It is one of those feel-good movies that leaves you inspired and ready to open a food truck after (just me? okay).
New Girl
New Girl is my go-to show to watch when I can’t decide or am in need for a good laugh. Each episode is only a little over twenty minutes, so it is easy to watch five episodes without realizing it. If you haven’t started watching New Girl yet, do it! You won’t regret it (unless it starts to impact your social life).
Miss Representation
For one of my classes last year I had to do a review/presentation on a film so I chose the documentary Miss Representation. I highly recommend this documentary for any woman out there (and man for that matter). It is so eye-opening about how women are represented in media and in our society.
Orange is the New Black
Enough said.
Night Crawler
If you love Jake Gyllenhaal, you’ll love Night Crawler. He plays a role that is so different than what he usually plays. Night Crawler has such a different storyline and it is filled with suspense and thrill, which I love!
