May Favorites!

I know it is not the end of May yet, but I decided to do my monthly favorites a little early. Plus I haven’t done a monthly favorites post in like a year, so I figured its better late than never!

One of my biggest splurges this month was a pair of Ray Ban aviator sunglasses. It was time for me to invest in a good pair of sunglasses rather than the $7 ones I get from Forever 21 that often break after a couple of uses. However, if you want to try out a bunch of styles without breaking the bank, cheap sunglasses are the way to go, just make sure they provide UV-ray protection because some cheaper brands say they do but actually don’t protect your eyes.

Next, I have been loving my pink/fuchsia lipstick from White House Black Market. I actually got this from my housemate because she didn’t like the color on her, but it is my new go-to lip color. I even have been branching out and wearing it on more casual occasions, rather than just for when I dress up!

My mini Benefit Hoola bronzer has been my go-to for contouring this month. I honestly think if you don’t have just one favorite bronzer and you like trying out multiple brands (like me), the mini Hoola bronzer from Benefit is the perfect size, especially for traveling. That way you aren’t spending almost $30 on a Bronzer you won’t ever finish.

I absolutely love my Boi-ing concealer. I won’t go into too much detail about it because I wrote a review about it. If you haven’t seen my review, check it out HERE. It works wonders!

As for my go-to eyeshadow, I have definitely been reaching for my Stila “In The Light” eye shadow palette. I love a matte beige color paired with a shimmery champagne. My two favorites from this specific palette are Bare and Kitten/Bubbly. I top off the look by taking a matte brown and blending it into the outer edge/crease.

Lastly, I have been using my MAC blush in Well Dressed so much this month. I have actually had this product for quite some time and recently rediscovered it. It provides a light pink flush that is perfect for a more natural makeup look.
