During my last visit to Sephora.com I picked up the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (see Sephora Splurge). I was super excited to purchase a high end foundation-ish product since I mainly use drugstore. This particular tinted moisturizer was around $42. Pretty pricey if I do say so myself. Overall, the product is pretty good, however, if you have oily skin like I do (especially in the summer), I don’t recommend it. It says it is Oil Free but it leaves a super dewy shine all over your face so you definitely have to set it with some powder. It also doesn’t provide much coverage which is a bonus for the summer months but not if you have blemishes or discoloration. If you are looking for a light coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer and you don’t need a lot of coverage, this is your go to product. Otherwise I’d skip it and go for something a little less pricey and more compatible with your skin (like my all time favorite: Covergirl Natureluxe Foundation. I will always love you).
