January Favorites

          January flew by super duper fast and I was fortunate to try out some new and old products! I have been loving the Viva La Juicy Perfume. I have been wanting it for two years now and I finally got it at the beginning of January and have been wearing it since. Last week, I picked up the Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara and it is amazing. It provides the perfect length and volume. I am sure all of you, like me, have been hearing the hype about Revlon Lip Butters. Let me tell you, these lil suckers are amazing. I have two, Strawberry Shortcake and Tutti Fruity, and they provide great moisture and are just the right pigmentation. Next, I got the Smashbox Photo Op highlighter about a year ago and this past month I rediscovered it. It adds a perfect shine to your cheekbones and lasts pretty long, which is always a plus. The NYX Jumbo eye pencil in “Milk” was in my last favorites post and I will say it again: It is such a great product! It is the perfect base/primer and conceals any discoloration on your eyelids. Next, the Covergirl eyeliner goes on so smoothly and it is inexpensive. It has a smudge wand on the end of the pencil which helps with creating smokey looks. Lastly, I LOVE the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes. They create the perfect flush and are so fun to apply because the formula is literally bouncy. YEE! 

          One of my favorite non-beauty items this month is The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks. I saw the trailer for the movie starring the delicious Zac Efron and I knew instantly it was my destiny to read the book. It was AMAZING. Nicholas Sparks, you never let me down. Glamour magazine has also been one of my favorites this past few months. It is a like a more mature Seventeen magazine, and has so many great beauty and fashion tips. Next, I have been loving my Bath & Body Works candle. I light it when I am doing my homework and it makes it a little better:) Lastly, I have really been into drinking tea this winter so my go-to tea flavor is the Bigelow Green Tea with Lemon. It is delicious!
