I wanted to dedicate an entire blog post to me and Paul’s engagement pictures to maybe give any of my readers engagement picture inspiration. When I was scrolling through Pinterest getting ideas, I found so many amazing pictures. I highly recommend having a vision so your photographer can bring it to life. I sent our photographer Anthony (from A.Ropkin Visuals) a handful of screenshots of pictures I loved and wanted to incorporate into our shoot. I highly recommend researching other engagement photos prior to your session that way you have a good idea of what you want and what you don’t want. Your photographer can help make that inspiration become a reality!
We had our engagement shoot at Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado. This place gets so busy on sunny days so we got there extra early to ensure we found parking. Side note, I wish I had brought different shoes to wear prior to the pictures because I looked pretty odd wearing a wrap dress and heels on a trail that people regularly hike on.
I got my pink wrap dress from Mint Julep, which is seriously my new favorite online boutique. Their dresses are 100% my style and they don’t break the bank. This dress was only $48!
