Ask me what my favorite hairstyle is and I will say curls. Every time. I have been curling my hair since around junior high school and it has become such a habit that I can curl all of my hair (and I have a lot) in about 10 minutes or less. Personally, I think big curls suits my face better and I love changing up curling irons to make for different types. For today’s post, I partnered with Kenra Professional and Brand Backer to talk about my curling routine and my favorite Kenra Professional Products.
For those of you who don’t know, Kenra Professional is a higher-end hair care company that specializes in styling and finishing products. One thing right off the bat that I love about these products is that it keeps my hair in place. Naturally, my hair does tend to hold curls better, but after using these products I haven’t had to touch up my curls later in the day if I go out to dinner after a long day at work.
For this particular hairstyle, I simply curled small sections with my 1.5 inch curling iron and sprayed it down with the Kenra High Grip spray. Next I took a section of hair in the front and did a simple braid and pinned it down with two bobby pins at the back of my head. I used the Kenra Air Grip Spray over my braid to ensure volume and to prevent fly-aways.
