How is it already September? I just realized that this past summer was my last summer as a college student. When I graduate in May 2016, I am expected to go out in the real world where life will no longer be measured by school breaks and what year you are in school! HELP! Any who, excuse my pre-midlife crisis, lets get back to the point of this post: August favorites!
First off, let me start by bringing to your attention the fact that I have had my Lilly Pulitzer planner in probably 90% of my most recent posts. Saying that, I think you all know it is a favorite of mine so we will leave it at that. Throwing it back to high school, I have been loving my Victoria’s Secret body splash in the scent Love Spell. It is such a fun scent and I always get asked if I am wearing it when I am out and about. The next product I have been loving is the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Hydrating cream. This product is actually my housemate’s, but she has been letting me use it once in awhile because my face got so dry when I moved back to the Pacific Northwest. It is more on the expensive side, but I immediately saw results and it has kept my skin hydrated. Another beauty product I am sure you all know I love is the Benefit Boiing Concealer (see my review here). I recently repurchased this product for the second time and am still extremely pleased with the way it works with my skin. For fashion, it seems like all month long I was wearing my brown Birkenstocks. Yes, I realize they aren’t everyone’s taste and they look like I am about to attend the Last Supper, but hey, they are super comfortable and I fit in quite well up here in Portland, Oregon #keepPortlandweird. The last thing I have been loving this month are lemons! I love to either throw in a couple of lemon slices into my water or if I am in a hurry, buying lemon juice in a bottle. I’ve been trying to eat more healthy and I found that lemon water reduces my sugar cravings and is super yummy too!
Those are all my favorites for this month! If you want to shop any of the items above check out the links below!
